Kingswood Rest Home Matamata 

Kingswood Rest Home is the only Rest Home in the Matamata / Morrinsville area specialising in the 24 hour care of people who have been assessed as requiring Stage 2 or 3 Dementia Care. 

Formerly Braeside Hospital it was converted into the Heather Lee Rest Home in 1990 and more recently re-named Kingswood Rest Home. 

Kingswood Rest Home is a privately owned facility offering a premium level of care to our Residents.  There is a qualified, dedicated team in place to ensure that the needs of all our Residents are adequately met.  

The Rest Home is housed in a single storey building surrounded by lovely, established grounds and big trees. It is important for people with Dementia to be able to wander around the gardens and we encourage Residents to tend small vegetable and flower gardens and often help to rake the leaves and love to relax under the the shade of our beautiful trees.
